Rohit’s work traverses across mediums like filmmaking, photography, painting & technology. Their home-grown movement, The Creative Indians seeks to create and support brands that offer sustainable solutions and represent their identities true to their values. Besides being an Ad filmmaker, he is the Producer, Director and Director of Photography of The Creative Indians docuseries, of which Season 4 (shot completely on iPhones with technology support from Apple) is currently streaming on Netflix. Rohit has been working closely with Apple & has worked with industry filmmakers like AR Rahman, Imtiaz Ali, Zoya Akhtar, Mira Nair, Farah Khan Ali introducing them to the medium of filmmaking on the iPhone. He is currently Co-producing & Directing a musical documentary with Oscar & Grammy winner AR Rahman and has helped introduce a course in filmmaking on iPhones at the Whistling Woods International School, Mumbai in collaboration with Apple. Besides filmmaking he is also as a visual artist and has worked in mediums like painting, photography & sculpture along with his brother as an artist duo ManilRohit, with solo exhibitions with galleries like Nature Morte & Art District 13 and multiple group exhibitions including the India Art Fair.
